A local park in our city was holding a light show to celebrate the holidays. Maddy and I thought it'd be fun so we drove out there, but were disappointed when we found out the tickets were sold-out. As the teller was giving us the bad news a manager nearby heard the conversation and came over. She asked how many tickets we needed and printed them out for us. She was super sweet and we are thankful she helped us out. She gave us our tickets and 3D glasses and we headed inside. The lights were amazing and it made for a really good date night.

### 53. The Axia

The Axia was an award event that my team put together. They wanted to kick off the new year by celebrating everyone's hard work over the last year. The event had amazing food and free drinks so everyone had a great time. I was a little stressed out though because one of Maddy's best friends had a birthday party the same night so we were on a time crunch. After the awards, we left The Axia for the birthday party and made it just in time. We threw on our Hawaiian shirts and hit the bars with our friends. Definitely, a night to remember.
